 Whether your property is new or old it is important to organise a termite inspection yearly in order to save you thousands of dollars worth of damage.

Adelaide Pest Control have numerous post construction termite treatments that are available to help protect your home from Australia’s termites.

  • Reticulation Barriers – This type of termite control barrier is applied under the concrete slab prior to building your home. A reticulation system can also be applied around the perimeter of your property. This system must be topped up every 3-5 years for ongoing termite protection.
  •  Chemical Barriers – A chemical barrier is a liquid that is applied to the soil. This then forms a barrier between the soil and the concrete slab. Chemical barriers can be applied under the concrete slab or around the perimeter of your property. When a chemical barrier is installed we recommend you retreat your home every 5-10 years.
  • Monitoring & Baiting - Our termite monitoring and baiting treatment is a safe and environmentally friendly way to help protect your home from termites and is our most popular termite control treatment available after you build. A termite technician will install above and in-ground bait stations and will continually be monitoring them regularly. Once the colony has been eliminated the technician will remove the above ground bait stations and continue to monitor the in-ground bait stations.
  • Regular Termite Inspections – We provide regular inspections to ensure that your house is not being attacked by termites. It is recommended by Australian Standards that termite inspections are carried out at least annually and more regularly in high risk situations.
